Wet Granulation by Extrusion - R&D and Pilot Scale

The Dalton-Fuji Paudal bench top R&D Series are small table-top devices that provides the researcher and new product developper a means to quickly evaluate the effectiveness of granulation by extrusion.

They can also be used because the product generated is indicative of that produced in a full-scale production system. Yje laboratory granulator conserves valuable resources. Only a small amount of research material is needed to obtain a good evauation.

The Micro Fluid Bed Processor is a bench top device, able to process (granulation, coating and spray drying) small volumes through fluidization.
The processing volume ranges from batches as low as a few grams up to 50 grams.

There are three factors that affect the fluidization: spray air, purge air and inlet air. The combination of these three factors together with the special design of the spray nozzles makes it possible to process these small amounts of material.
